Hi,

Sorry for slow response (been off *cough* *splutter* sick).

Blacklisting occurs when your modem has tried unsucessfully to dial a number 16 times consecutively. It's a BABT requirement in this country to prevent you from incorrectly calling the wrong number millions of times.

When your modem reaches the "blacklisting" threshold (which i think is 16 failed attempts)
all you need to do is turn it off, then on again to make it continue trying.

Acutally, i posted this idea (http://forums.gameplay.com/ubb/Forum31/HTML/001464.html) a few weeks ago to see if it stopped modems blacklisting. Can you be a "guinea pig" and try it ?

There's also some info here (http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q258/8/38.ASP) and another couple of init strings that might prevent the blacklisting.

Unfortunately i can't fix the fact that you have to dial more than 16 times to get into your ISP.....but i suspect you know the solution for that one ;)

Cheers
Slime
