Problem with Air Attack

Whenever I connect to an Air Attack Game Server, I only manage to play at approx 1 frame every 30 seconds. Quake II gives great FPS and response.

Has anyone experienced this ?
How can I solve it ?

i have a problem aswell with airattack

my Air attack is comptely buggered it jusat jam when u try to enter the arena and it is really starting to **** me off i have try to ereinstalll about 20 time and have wasted my phone bill getting your update everytime.
i heard it was maybe something to do woith my sindwinder PP driver so i got the lastest one from microsoft and it stilll doesn't work.
the game works one single player before i get the update then it jams on WP and on single player. so it all buggers up when i get that update can u not get the updated verison of Air Attack a WP cd or can u u even get the updated verion to download on this site cause u still have the old verison on this site.
i want some help to get this fixed i have alredy tried the help desk and they said they ring me back and did they noooooo.
so i need so bloody help to get this working agian.

This is a bug to do with the upgrade install of air attack. It seems that the version on the cd is older than the download available on the website. This version does not like the upgrade that automatically happens when you log into wireplay. Also the upgrade seems to be buggy and does not work on some systems even if you have the right version.
To remedy this a new complete version including the upgrade will be available for download tonight.

This is a full version of the game, rather than the patch update that downloads when you try to log into AA using an old version, so might well clear up some of the probs some of you have been having with the patch.
