just an idea but is it possible to put a NEW tag next to posts submitted since you last looked?

It's a bit of a pain to remember the no. of replies to any of your posts. You can see what I mean at the AvP site:

If the thread has a green folder next to it it has new posts since you last looked. If the folder is red then it doesn't.

eeek I thought I was being dumb for a seconda nd was going to hide for a week...

BUT

all the folders are red... even the one with new messages in I know I haven't seen -like yours http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif

The legend key only has a red folder for an open thread and a locked yellow one for a closed one.. no green folders anywhere on the threads or the legend...

what gives.... maybe I should try it in IE5

Make sure you're linking to the board using www.wireplay.co.uk/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi (http://www.wireplay.co.uk/cgi-bin/ubb/Ultimate.cgi) ... Once you've loaded that page, refresh once to update your cookie (which you'll hopefully have allowed in your browser)... Then bookmark that page and use it to view these forums... If you do all that everything will be nice as pie, smelling of roses and hunky dorey...
