Unable to connect to Half-Life servers via BT Internet/WP Internet

The error message is: LAN servers are restricted to local clients
(class c) - this is from the h-l console, after attempting to login to a server.

It's fine when connecting via wireplay direct, but a lot of us don't use WP Direct bcos we connect at a much better speed via BTInternet, and unfortunately for a lot of us WP Direct is unplayable.

Pls can you let us know if this is being looked at - we've got league tomorrow night, and it would be nice if for one week it wasnt a **** up.

The reason that those using BT Internet connections are unable to get on to any of the Half Life servers is that there is currently a problem at our end which consists of PCs with certain IP addresses being refused access by the Wireplay servers. Which ones are accepted and which ones rejected doesn't seem to follow any pattern, but the people at the Labs are aware of it and in the process of sorting it out. In the meantime, you should be able to get in via a Wireplay Direct connection.

Which is very nice, but you admit yourselves that WP Direct gets very busy at times, and to use ClickFree or BT Internet.

Same here except that I get the same error via BTinternet and Half-Life net play too. This is only wp's problem 'cos they advertise that you should use BTInternet as an alternative - so sort it out with your colleagues please!
