Connecting to Tribes servers

If anyone's had problems connecting to the Tribes servers via Wireview, where they see a message informing them of a password error, then try running the game first, and then go to Multiplayer options, where you should be able to see all the servers available for you to join. Incidentally, the IP address for the Tribes servers is 193.113.158.26

Worth pointing out that if its a Thursday no one will be able to access the Power Play servers at all as the reason they are passworded off is because its a league night...

I've requested more servers so hopefully this wont be a problem soon but for now public Tribes on a Thursday will have to be restricted to Open Play...

Can I use that IP address to connect to the wireplay servers even though I got that wptool error. All I can use right now is the wireplay open servers. Can i access the power play arena's directly from the game?

Salion -- sorry for the delay getting back to you. Tried what you're proposing, but it doesn't seem to work. I fired up the Wireplay Direct dial up, without running the client software, then ran Tribes, went to Options, and entered the IP address of Tribes server (193.113.158.26) into the Master Server field. It returned a message saying "Unable to resolve IP address". So, I'm afraid the answer to your question would appear to be no, but, by all means, have a go yourself, and if you have more success than I did, all well and good. In the meantime, the tech-heads at the labs will continue to puzzle, with furrowed brows, over the wptool nightmare. All being well, they should come up with something soon.
