Why are these forums so slow

Whats going on........taking up to 2 mins to open a forum or thread.
Or is it just me??????

I have, to be honest m8 I have not seen this problem myself, however it could be a couple of reason’s why it’s happening.

(1)Bad net connection.

(2)Your browser’s shagged.

No problems with my connection (51k)and all other browsing is fine.

Seems to be worst on wireplay after 5pm so I assume this is increased traffic........but this only started approx 2 weeks ago.

Posted the same thread on the tech talk board and at least 2 people have replied with same problem.

It took 60 seconds to open this thread tonight so something must be wrong.

There's a few threads around about this.

Replies from various WP bods say the same thing: They know about it and are trying to fix it.

Rest assured, it's nothing to do with your connection. I've given up trying the boards between 6pm and 11pm. AfFter that they speed up a bit...
