i have ntl cablemodem

they come round and shove a new wire from your box into your house in the same way they would if u got a new tv line/box

the wire is excatly like the tv one and plugs into the modem which looks like a network hub/n64 http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

this then plugs into the mains/plug socket and a network card in the back of your pc

then bingo http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

So, when NTL come round to install the cable modem, do they charge you £25 the same as if they were to install another line / extension / service?

Does anyone know when cable modems will be coming to Coventry?
