..... coz bt certainly dont. I e-mailed them last week reference availablity of ADSL, when it would be available to the public, how much it would cost etc, etc. and the reply i got back was that the person who answered my mail had had no training regarding the public availiability of ADSL.
WTF ??? if bt dont know whats going on, who does ? ne1 got ne ideas?

It seems none of the help-lines on either BT or Cable & Wireless have anything close to a clue of what the hell ADSL and Cable Modems are repectively.
It kinda depends on what you want to know m8. Perhaps if you give the general area of where you live peeps can try and advise you on the availability. I know that Freeserve (http://www.freeserve.co.uk) are running/starting trials on ADSL in the Manchester area (I think it's Manchester only, but don't quote me on that). Apparently they charge £50 a month, but that is second-hand info so I'm not completely sure.
