An article in the telegraphs connected insert(connected@telegraph.co.uk) has revealed some prices from bt and a bit more info on ADSL. The BT spokesperson stated that business prices will be between £40 for low speed (512kbits/s) and £150 for high speed (2mbits/s). BT also said that home users prices will be out for the end of the year and should be cheaper because home users demand less quality that companies. They will also be unveiling bt's own nationwide home service in the spring. bt is only planing to make 400 exchanges ADSL in the current round of changes so a lot of people are going to loose out. especially anyone north of the watford gap. But since the article was about freeserve is suppose Id better say that their ADSL trials will start end of next month. Hope this is good news to someone. I live in Norwich ie the back end of beyond, BT will do the falklands before they get to me.

They obviously don't want to hack off big business and its money by offering a poor service. So what will we get, a double serving of BT's normal customer service when it comes to problems at the very least. And then they may place limits on the connection itself. What do you think---poor,timed,slow connection possibly bad customer service maybe (but hey thats normal). BT is bad enough how are the isp's going deal with load freeserve has 800,000 "permanant" users and even then the service is sooooo slooow!
