You are not mistaken. Currently we've only allocated 80 QuakeWorld places. This may change once we have a better idea of numbers for each section.

Lo Wiz m8. Ermm, think back to the last one, and the 80 odd ppl who went, and the extra people who wanted to, but couldn't.

This one has better publicity, looks to be organised a whole lot better and has all the added bonus of people from the last one reccomending it, which carries more weight than most other forms of publicity.

I hope you reserve a few more than 80 places as Section Se7en alone are hoping to bring 15 participants.

Russdy - It would be great to have more than 80 in Quakeworld, but this event is for everyone and the limit has to be set. However, we are bound to allocate more numbers, and we may be able to push it to 300 if Multiplay feel happy. We'll wait and see.

From the vibe about it in the QW community, I get a feeling ALOT of people will be wanting to go, especially after the first one was made a success by a whole contingent of QW players.

anyway, I hope it is a great success and that enough places are available. I have signed up and sent off my cash already to make sure.... I have a feeling....

hehe, well we've accounted for 300 connections so far and the signups as of 02:00 this morning were:

75 Quake World
20 Quake II
2 Other

So if things stay this way there'll be many more places allocated to QW.

I'm worried now that not enough ppl are going to make it interesting for games other than Quake. What about Q2 mods for example, there are just not going to be enough. It's no ones fault just unfortunate.
