QUAKEWORLD IS FULL UP!

Yep, I'm sorry to say that Quakeworld is overbooked. There is still room for Q2 people and loads for strategy/others. However, the other games include anything from Air Attack to Settlers 3 and Rainbow 6 and this will fill up more slowly as it consists of lots of different groups. We will give it the weekend, and if any other sections look like they are not filling up then we wil re-allocate space to the waiting list. I will also look at the possibility of incorporating more people on the network with Wizzo. I'm obviously dtermined that all WP users who want to come should indeed come. I'm trying my bestest.

One question : Why is Quakeworld full up and not Quake2?

Actually, its probably because the QW bunch are a far more close knit friendly group who want to go as much for the social side as for the gaming.

Take a look at the messageboard posts - ratio of about 4-1 in favour of Quake.

I think its because QW players are more on the ball able to deal with tchnical issues like"drop down boxes" Or maybe only QW players understand the complexities of a "browser"

Streaky - you have to use the prefix [ b ] and the suffix [ /b ] to get bold (i for italics)... Obviously leave out the spaces I've included inside the [] brackets...

The other options it allows (if my memory serves me correctly) is [ email ] and [ url ]...
