What You Can Expect...

I've been to a few large LAN parties (a 30 member one and a 50 member one) and I have a general idea what will happen at the Wireplay LAN. All the things below have happened at the LAN's I went to:

1) Everyone arrives either at once, or in dribs and drabs.
2) Some awkward gits will have humungous desktop cases that steal almost an entire table, and large monitors too!
3) Once all the PC's are in, the power will short out more than once, and someone will trip over the power cables and get laughed at.
4) The duel tourny will be first, followed by a teamy tourny.
5) Most people will get a few hours sleep, on hard, wooden seats, with only a coat for warmth (me http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif )
6) The organisers will be seated up high above the rabble, and repeatedly lose to the rabble, while shouting various abuse.
7) I will save the day for someone by bringing that huge 20 metre piece of co-ax I have http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
8) Everyone will go home, some with more wires than they brought http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif

This is probably quite correct! If it isn't, i'll do a backflip.
