Tribes, IMO is by far the best FPS.

You currently cannot get a beta/demo unless you get it over Warez, which is naughty *cough*.

I have a copy of the game, and I regularly run LAN servers of the game, so I will be available to set it up, and I myself will be providing a server for a 10 per side Tribes game at the LAN, maybe more if I can upgrade before then.

Boa 8 ball, I am quite certain that if yu come to the LAN, Tribes will be *cough* found *wheeze* on your HD somewhere, it is most surprising where it pops up http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif

However, if you want it before then (not a bad idea, there is a lot of learning to be done RE:weapons and tactics) then the UK release date is planned for 12th march. However be aware that this has been set back twice due to a lack of UK servers, and although this is being dealt with, it may be set back again

i found a 29mb[yes 29 mb]demo on the web with multiplayer so i guess u woz wrong,but can i play it against your version,i got it 4rm a search engine look at it and c if its the 1 u got please

To save on the network backbone, and also time, I will be bringing approximately 3 CD's of Tribes with me.

Purely for evaluation purposes.

Oha, and 8 ball, that demo is the SINGLE player version of the game, with missiosn etc.

Starsiege Tribes is a multiplayer only game, way way better.

well my tribes demo is called
alpha atr2 starsiege 1.2
and its multiplayer only with 4 vechiles and all the maps,king o the hill/ctf all out assault,is this compatable with yours and
WHERE THE **** CAN I PLAY A MULTIPLAYER GAME
also there no read me txt so i dont no what the buttons do,would appreciate u sending the default controls list 2 me at

It is a diff game, based on the same engine.

Imagine a Total Conversion for Quake or Quake2, by the same people who designed it., that's what you have m8.
