Hold onto your horses guys! The respective area organisers (Quake = Sniper, Quake II = Jekub) will be sorting out what competitions there will be and you'll be able to sign up beforehand (yes, another form :-)). Let's get all the signups done before moving onto the next stage.

They will go up on my webby pretty soon. I also have a plan to let me win the duel comp (by cheating of course ! - hehe)

Well I reckon for Q1 vs Q2, you could find all the best Q2 versions of the Q1 DM levels (apart from DM1, cos that's crap ;-) ) Then play them, tall up the scores then play the Quake 2 Deathmatch levels (especially the 64 player maps if we can get a server to run it) and then add those scores to the Q1 scores and see who wins, of course Q1 will because we've got loads more people, but it's the playing that counts http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

Erm, is that generations thing I heard about out/going to be by the time?

That's not what I meant a all! I love Quake much more than I do Quake II, what I mean is that we use the Generations patch, which I do have a copy of and then all the Q1 peeps can use the Q1 model and weapons, while the Q2 peeps can use the Q2 model and weapons. I wanna see Q1 win! Sorry if I caused any misunderstanding. I haven't tried out the Generations to see how accurate a recreation the Q1 guy is, but I'll check it out htis weekend.

I just got the generations patch and it is WICKED - the only things you notice are the slightly longer weapon switching times and the crappier rocket jumps - but you get used to it. God, I can't wait for the Doom marine in the next release!
