Need help

Hiya all

Im thinking of getting a DVD drive to play films on my computer. My spec is getting old though and Im not sure what I need other than the actual DVD drive itself.

I got a PII333/128ram/Voodoo3000 16 AGP

will this be ok?....cos someone told me I may need a decoder card or somit like that.

Will I also beable to play it full screen too?

HI you could get the creative labs dvd 6x with a decoder card for £135 from www.dabs.com (http://www.dabs.com) but i would not recommend play back of dvd's on a pc especially if you have a screen less than 19 inch as the play back of most dvd's is in widescreen and would not look to good on a pc monitor less than the above size. I would reccommend you buy a dvd player you can get good ones for around £179 from Dixons and the picture quality would be better on a large screen tv. Also if you have a good tv then the sound will be alot better from it's speakers than from small pc desktop speakers. Anyway most of the pc features of dvd's are crap anyway.
