How can you get digital surruond sound without buying a dedicated amp.
Don't some dvd players have built in decoders? Do you still need a dedicated amp to power a 5 speaker setup?

While some dvd players have built in decoders, you do indeed still require a decent amplifier able to accomodate 5.1 channel sound.
