R1 "V" R2

lo guys ,
another misconception that R2 discs r better due to extra horizontal lines is a lot of cr@p.it all comes down to the bit rates the discs r coded at ,and availabillity of space on the dics.
R1 discs usually only carry 2 audio languages .compared to the 4- 8 on R2's .
and with this the picture and extras suffer as a result,,,,,

R2 is dead ,long live R1 :)

Hes quite right I have an r2 version of The Faculty and it has no extras where my m8 has an r1 version with extras on it. http://forums.gameplay.com/ubb/teeth.gif

i don't think there's much of a discussion in the R1 vs R2 area as everyone seems to feel that R1 is much better.

i agree with all those that do.
cheaper. films out earlier. more features.
