I have heard good things about the Pioneer DV-626D does anyone know where you can buy it online or at a shop is it on special offer?. And is it any good

Its a great player. :D
I got mine in December from Techtronics, it comes with the E-mod (a card with the chip on is inserted through a vent slot into the service port of the machine rather than opening up the player and soldering the chip on)and cost £400 incl delivery!!.
I've had no lip sync problems or anything else and plays CDs, VCDs, CDRs...oh yea and DVDs. With onboard Dolby Digital and DTS decoders its a bargain.
Buy one now!!

they chip the dvd players so that they're multiregion and they're pretty cheap.

next day delivery too.
got mine from there and i've had no problems, although i got the DV-525.
