Dear All I need Help !!
Is their a tips web page?
Advice needed
Yours herbal law
you could just ask whatever you need to know here and i'm sure we will all do our best to help.
There are plenty of full walkthroughs, maps etc on the web but that would defeat the whole purpose of the game.
Well this has been my first venture into RPGs and I just threw myself in at the deep end... I just spent 1 evening getting to grips with what the game was about and then restarted from the beginning with the knowledge to be aware of what I was going to come across (for a couple of hours anyway http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif)...
After that you really are on your own - even some of the walk-throughs I've seen have not quite been complete - there is just that much to do in this game...
Two of the main tips I'd give are to save frequently and pause the game during a big fight to optimise your attacking potential (no point leaving your mage standing there in a middle of a fight while you're sorting out where your archer is standing - all this can be done whilst paused)...
Also, as Dan has said, stick any specific problems up here...
Cheers

I'd agree with all above - but its up to you - If you keep track of the Journal and try to keep to the story-line its a bit easier to keep track of what is going on.
On the Other hand - starting bottom left and working your way up systematically also workd I'm told - just have fun and remember to save regularly http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
Oscar
Oscar mentioning the journal has just reminded me of what I've been doing instead... The journal is a bit poo for working out what you've done and what missions you're on for different people... The easiest thing to do is just write it on a piece of paper using coloumns such as:
Contact, Place, Mission, Location, Return, Comments, Completed
I found this much easier than trying to jump up and down the journal and it gives you a nice list of all the missions in the game (if you've been busy)...

yo Dancer lets hook up and plat a multi-player game for newbies only, at the moment i can only kill small harmless bunny rabbits http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
yeah certainly a mad game , tips please on were to go after friendly arms inn as at the moment those locust things in the ground have killed me twice, and aload of gibberings did me when i went east.
So guys please help http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
Herbal Law (I'm definetly better at ROR but then that aint saying much http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif
herbal, if youve only just started the game and you keep getting killed, then just follow the storyline without exploring too much. (eg. go to friendly arms inn, then south to berigond and south again to nashkel). There is nothing too hard in these areas and you will have more chance of staying alive if you dont wander off in all directions. Those 'locust things' in the ground should be left well alone until you have pretty decent characters.
