View Full Version : Interesting things re CON
If you've got a CON score of 25 you regenerate hit points, whether this is a bug or not I don't know (but dead useful when you're low on hit points after a major battle with no healing available).
As for how I got a character with CON of 25 (STR 25 and WIS 25) that's another story I sure all you powergamers out the'll be able to figure it out

Are there any special items that raise your CON (I think I remember a book that raises it one point)
Just wondering what the best charecter you can LEGALLY get in the game is.
Currently my paladin has a charisma of 22 and people keep throwing themselves at my feet to be used as carpets http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

Regenerating at an huge CON (I can't remember if its 25) is a standard thing in AD&D - rather than a Bug

yep athan is right tis typical thing with high cons, usually linked to monsters like trolls and the such. Thats the tidbit of info for today from the beard and jersey/tanktop gang http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
Braindead,
legally, one a one run through basis, the best character you can get is one with 1 added to each stat as there is a book for each stat (dunno about items) so how you got your charisma at 22 (unless it is with an item)is somewhat odd. However using multiplayer and a character loaded with tomes, it is quite easy and legitimate to get any charater to 25 in each statand leave all the tome carriers behind http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif that's what I meant by powergaming.

Okay then Tigs m8, say I wanted to build a huge collection of tomes for some highly powerful beard lengthening gaming, where are they on BG??? I know I've picked up two (although I'm dam sure I didn't write down where they were) perhaps you can help me locate any others???
Yours in tomes
VELVET
erm velvet mate,
I could like email you a character holding one copy of each tome, or, I'll email you the locations, cos we wouldn't want to give too much away to everyone else now would we ?
I'll try the email addy in your profile and hope it works, if I can remember where they all are ... http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

Powergaming - back in my old RPG club ppl would have moaned at you for hours about the tyrany of powergaming and how much its spoils the fun...
but thats all beardy hogwash when it comes to me! http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
Must admit though it is a bit too easy to get a power trip in the multiplay - isn't it!
