If your not on the final chapter you won't have come across theses skeletons.
Any advise on killing them. They a rock hard and are resistant to all forms of magic and that includes arrows with magical properties.
At the mo i'm trying to kill them with good old swords+1 and arrow+2. Are crushing type weapons any better than arrows or swords?
Come one velvet I think you ahead of me you bound to have worked some way of killing these little beggers.
Try to avoid fighting them at all. If I find any monsters which are too hard for me I make everyone invisible and sneak past them.
i usually send one person in with boots of speed and as soon as they spot him i leg it back to a prepared ambush. You need to get your strongest fighters up close or you will be picked off with their arrows. If you lead them around a corner to waiting warriors they wont have time to kill you with arrows.
Hehe - sorry I haven't been here to offer my 'slightly ahead of you' pearls of wisdom http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
I've been too busy finishing it - oh yeh baby - its finished http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
I spent a few minutes deciding whether to shave off my beard or go and do it all again and I'm now about 1/4 of the way through my second attempt - this time with a fighter/thief/mage mutli class and only a couple of people in the party (need all the xp I can get)... All those I haven't needed are having a big party upstairs in the Feldepost Inn - there are about 10 of them at the moment and at last look they were having a wild time http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
Anyway - back to the point... I'm presuming you're in the maze under the thieves guild??? I too had problems with skeleton warriors here but I sent out an invisible char to find the safest way to the exit... In the end I only had to kill about 2 to get through the maze and these I killed using the ambush tactic which Dan had outlined... Its best to keep your mages and clerics out of the way though as magic isn't that useful and you don't want them to get injured at this stage of the game...
Anyway - good luck with it - you should have probably completed it by now anyway if you've still been playing...
Must be about time for a few online games if we've all got this far... Have to make sure Dan is involved though as he seems to be the only one to have had succesful multiplayers http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

lol!. If i had a phoneline i would happily spend all day playing BG, but i am limited to sundays at my dads house http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/frown.gif
I tried a game on wp but the person i was with just wanted to show off his wand of fire all the time by killing guards in candlekeep. I hope all online games arent like this because i think thats kind of pointless.
Dam - I wanted everyone to watch me use my wand of monster summoning that I've just spent 12,000 on...

I'd already figured it out by the time I'd read this post killed the two skeletons and used thief to rcon the maze. Havent done the final bit yet just save the game outside of that evil looking building.
Argh - how could you save it and not go in m8???
You must have enormous will power... As soon as I got to Chapter 6 I knew there was no way I was leaving my PC until it was complete... Not even to trim my beard...
