erm, you need a halfling to get into gullykin ?? news to me http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif Never had a halfling in me party and always managed to get in.

Erm, only solution is to get better armour and not get hit as often. Other than that, ain't much you can do except rest.

yeah, you dont need a halfling to get into that gullykin (is that what its called?) place.

If for some really strange reason you cant get in, go to firewine bridge and go through the door into the ruins and when youve worked through them you'll appear in a building in gullykin.

Use a cleric or magey person and get them to memorise all healing spells.

Heh - as if you'll get through the Firewine Cellars without any healing potions http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

You could try the Nashkel Carnival - I believe there is a bloke there selling them but if you really have bought all the health on the Sword Coast then you are using it too liberally...

Best bet is to get Branwen (if you have her - if not why not - shes lurvely http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif) to memorize lots of healing spells - I personally had all her first level spells as health plus I had one myself as did Ajantis...

Anyway - good luck with it, if you are still having trouble getting any try and take the bandit camp a bit slower... Bandits are very easy to kill off one at a time with arrows and losing a party member in the final battle here isn't too big a deal as there are several in Cloakwood...

My humble advice and i aint done this bit yet http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

is what about your druid/cleric do loads of healing spells

this has saved a fortune on healing potions, still need another 13000 for the armour that i want http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif

basically i need potions cos they're easier to use in the heat of battle
i have branwen, but i need her to memorise the command spell so i can knock guys unconscious-my guys are so pathetic that they can't kill anyone in any other way
i have jaheira and she has goodberries, maybe i could get a whole load of these- which would take ages

Thanks Dan http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/worry.gif

Don't cheat Ouie

At least not until you've completed it once http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif

Ouie - where have you been??? Don't go to the Bandit Camp until you've done every otehr available mission and area on the map... This will easily get you the experience you need to do the Bandit Camp - you can't just expect to do all the major missions and that be that - you simply wont be hard enough... There is loads of experience and stuff to be gained west of Beregost plus the Ulcaster school (and dungeon) as well as Gullykin and Firewine...

Only once you've done all this go to the Bandit Camp... I actually found it easier than the mines after I'd done all this stuff and there is loads of money there to repair and equip your party for Cloakwood (which should be relatively easy)...

I repeat - do not cheat m8 - you'll regret it - there is still loads of the game left and it'd be a shame to cheat now...

If you are going to use fireballs you'll have to remember to split your party up - then you stand less chance of killing all your characters yourself...

Most of all you need patience but it is possible without too much trouble - just practice on all the other people around the map...

Have you done the Basiliks yet??? The Sirines??? Got Basilius??? Greywolf???

If none of these enemies ring a bell then you haven't done enough yet...

poo, cheats aren't working anyway
i haven't done gnolls yet (or i don't think i have) where abouts is that again? i heard it was easy
i have been to ulcaster but not fully explored it (or at least i dont think i have)
ive not done the basilisks, sirines or anything at all
i went to firewine, if thats the bridge, and i ran away from some skeletons cos i was so pathetic

and im on day 70 with level 3, 4 & 5 characters-how am i doing?

Heh - no wonder its taken you so long to get to those levels - I guess you've just been wandering round killing Gibberlings eh??? http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/tongue.gif

For anyone not wanting to know about different areas of the map don't read on

Anyway, the Gnoll Stronghold is in the far south west of the map - well worth doing as its pretty easy but might get you a couple of level ups... Then I'd head for the south east of the map where you'll get to kill Greywolf if you're lucky (long sword + 2 yippee)... Then north through Firewine, Gullykin (remembering to do the cellars), Ulcaster (find the dungeon in the middle of the grounds - lots of spiders and xp there)... Carry on north through Larswood area and directly east you should find the Basiliks - the big ones get you 7,000 xp - wow... Then make your way west, so you're north of the Friendly Arm Inn... Here you'll find lots of Ankhegs at something like 950 xp a go... Continue west until you reach the coast where you will start to come across Sirines and Carrion Crawlers - again lots more xp... Go south for a bit and then back in towards Nashkel and Beregost where you'll hopefully find Basillius and his band of undead...

Finally go back to the Bandit Camp and whoop their asses...

I personally made it my mission to explore the whole of every area - this allows you to fully appreciate that quality of the game but will also give you an advantage in the strength and experience of your party...

no, i dont want to it looks too good and worth megabucks

and i went into firewine, and i killed the knight and got some ancient armour-what is it for?

VELVET

Don't know http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/tongue.gif

Or maybe you have to give it to some knights who are trapped in limbo because their armour has been taken... Perhaps you'll find them in the Firewine cellars...

Right - no more questions answered till you've done cloakwood Ouie m8 - you're ruining the fun for yourself...
