To play the game you need a web browser with Flash 4.0, full cookie access, and javascript.
So if that is sorted then go to www.sarbakan.com/arcane/ (http://www.sarbakan.com/arcane/)
From here you are presented with a number of options on the left. Before you start you should check that your sound works with the flash so go to requirements and there is an option to test sound, do so and follow the prompts.
Now that you can hear its time to play.
If you click on the episodes option on the left hand side of the main screen you are then presented with various options.
As you are only just starting if you click on episode 1 you will be taken into the game at the very beginning.
This is a point and click adventure so when in game if you point your mouse at various areas of the screen his lie detector will go off and make a lot of noise (NB in further episodes it is a different person who notifies you in a different way)
So once you get the hang of it point your mouse around and start clicking.
Once you have done the first one you then can progress onto the others.
A note about the book in the corner of the screen, this is where you can load, save, exit your game. It also provides clues as to what to do next. So if you are stuck and can't work out what to do yourself then if you click on the clues it will give you a cryptic message which should hopefully aid in your quest.
When you get really stuck and the book doesn't help, there is a message board set up for the game which can be accessed from the main screen, here you can post queries etc. or reply to what other people are having problems with.
