(All the bloody time i spent creating all those new alias's too, just so that the voting didn't look too suspect) http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif

Hehe, LOL m8, me too, I even nominated myself......
I am pleased Cop won it, he really does do and put up wit ha lot, but who the hell is Rosie? A Mud player? Whats going on? Any one ever seen her/him here? Or helping in any other games? So it was a case of the most popular person in a particular game comp then? Where if you get all the people you spend all your time with to vote for you, despite never actually doing anything really usefull, you could feasibly win. That sucks. I am please Cop got it, I know he will buy games he can Play on WP, a Mudder would have bought a new graphics card, you know, a 2 meg one that can make all that text just fly.........

All true... I was going to nominate myself but I was sure someone else would have done it... Oh well - nice to know you're doing good http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

COP is a good winner though - well deserved - but I have to agree with Hog - I'd never heard of Rosie... Maybe next time WirePlay can pick the person who has been most helpful to them???

Aah - sleeping - its that thing you do at work... But only while someone is looking over your shoulder preventing you from using the forums of course http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

I have it on good authority that Rosie has been using Mud2 for the lengthy period of about 6 weeks. If that doesnt smack of vote rigging, nothing does.
I agree with the above tho, COP deserved first place, and next time make it a most usefull to WP type one, where the WPers make their own decision, to stop cynical exploitation of something that is supposed to mean something.

Ah but a lot can happen in 6 weeks Hog, just look at the fun that we have had. http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

HEHE, good point, but it has to be said, I was doing this on the old capts board, and in person at meetings so I been doing it for a lot lot longer http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

LOL - but Hog m8 - what have you achieved in all your time on WirePlay - at least compared to Rosie's 6 weeks in MUD??? Haha http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

Come on guys - if we selected people arbitarily, you would lynch us - and quite right too.

I know we can't win here - was it a good idea to do this? (who won the prizes aside of course http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif )

No Oscar, its an appalling idea . Honest. I am pleased COP finally got his worth, but no more. The thought of a Mudder winning anything on WP, just makes me shudder. And withthe amount of em, they would do it next time. If you have some stuff left over, send it to me and I will share it with Velvet. http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
Just do NOT do this again.

I sort of agree - the idea of rewarding people who have done something for WirePlay is good - and as one of the longest serving users and club captains COP was a very good choice... But the way you did it was very open to abuse - anyone could have won it really - even James D33 - and where would we be then???
