I'm always seeing people overflowing/timing out. What actually does this mean? Is it just a standard term for any kind of crash that happens to the person or is it something percific?

I have a mate who overflows all the time, and although this proves to be very amusing to me, it is still a very annoying thing to happen. Can anything be done to stop it?

Don't quote me on this but it's when they either have a system crash or they get connection sign and their connection Fecks. The server then gives the player a certain time of non-movement or no connection (or summink) and then they "time-out".

Overflow must be something to do with data transfer rates, or too many packets sent or something. But of course, i don't know what i'm talking about. This is where i shall end this extensive dribble.

The really strange thing was we got together for a LAN with some other guys, and while playing AQ he overflowed anyway. I thought it was just something wrong with his phoneline, but it obviously isn't. It could just be that Cheesebury's computer hates him

Yep, forget what i said before, he overflows cos his machine hates him. And i'm not joking. And in saying that "i'm not joking" i'm not implying that i'm just saying that to be funny, i really AM SERIOUS.

IT'S ALL TRUE! *sobs uncontrollably*
What have I done to deserve this?!

Oh God, why, why did you make me this way?!

*runs screaming into the horizon*

(And Steel Talon, if I only had those sorts of problems I'd be in heaven, if I listed what has gone wrong we would be here a long long time)
