i play cs and tfc and im thinking of downloading action half life (not AHL, AHL-anti human league=me tfc clan).
What is it, why is it good and it it better than cs (unlikely methinks)

realism.... getting that headshot with your berreta and watching their brains splat out. realism... none of this jumping about and shooting, u wan accuracy u stand still, u want more accuracy set your gun to single shot, or even get in the prone position.

What cooler then grabbing a sniper rifle, diving forwards, rolling over and setting your sites on the glass window infront of you. You see someone run past, and hope he's gonna run back again so you can blow his brains out. Suddenly the glass erupts as he dives straight through the window, firing with a berreta in each hand, landing about 1 foot away from you and clocking you twice in the face with a 9mm round.

dude its COOL to die in this game :)

teamplay, two teams, pick weapon (m4/shotgun etc) pick item ( kevlar vest, silencer etc)
or deathmatch

its fun, needs getting used to but the rewards are the most fun kills in any game.

This is a v.good game and is a must if you like Half-life trust me.

When downloading it make sure you get
Get-right it is a dam good program that will save info on the download so if you get cut off you can pick up where you left off.

Search for it via yahoo.

sounds good, you've convinced me. I still dont reckon it'll be as good as cs though :) but ill give it a try.

well... firstly u have to look at the disapointments of the other mods.

TFC, Cheesey colours, not realistic at all, the team-play oriantation is every man for himself, and it looks HORRIBLE

CS, too slow, not enuf action, and killing an enemy doesnt give you a great sense of satisfacation..... Plus... once u get shot, you stand there twitching... trying to move out the way... but its almost always death.

AHL, fast paced, furious, bloody, gorey, realistic (to a degree), and FUN.

i play every multiplayer mod for H-L there is out, on the net and on a lan.

AHL is begining to be a fave to me and i recently joined a clan, and there all v good players and friends now.

Ok ive been clanned in TFC [ARAC],[FUNK],[JKDB] and now [MM], CS [MMcs], and now AHL [GBH], so i know what im talking about :)

Trust me its VVV fun. (well its anoying WHEN U LAG EVERY DAMN SECOND COZ OF BTFREE, but its still cool).

I am an AHL newbie and I have to say that the best thing is that dying is cool (good job ;)). This means you just play for fun mostly, quite a new experience for a FPS :)

Action hl kicks ass. I play manyHL mods, but i can say that you don't get a better fealing by killing someone, than in AHL. Watching there brains splatter and hearing the special sound that it makes when you hit an enemy in the face, gives me a warm, happy fealing. It is Truly one of the best mods out there.
