m/soft force feed wheel set up

anyone know how to get the paddles on the wheel working to change gears??-ive messed about but have to use the buttons on the wheel instead of the paddles-a small gripe really as the game only seems to recognise 4 fire buttons-so any ideas? eh ? eh ?-come on ...lol

Normally the padels and buttons will be labelled button 1, 2, 3, 4 or similar.

What you need to do is go to the bit where you set the controller up and look on the right hand side for the 'controller method box' click the top blank square under 'user sets' this will allow you to adjust what controls the gears (this is in the top right hand corner). Select 'Change up' then press the right hand paddle, then 'change down' do the left hand paddle.

should work.

oh hang on, re-read it and you imply that the paddles (spelt it right this time hehe) are not labelled as buttons, thats weird, any idea what they are labelled as?
