I can't install GP3

I got GP3 yesterday but i can't install it on my PC. It installs fine on my dads PC but not mine. During the Install my PC crashes and i have to shut down and start again. I have a AMD 500mhz CPU, 128 Mb RAM and an ATI RAGE FURY PRO graphics card. My dads is a lower spec and like i say it works on that. Has anybody else had problems installing theres? And if so how did they fix it? :bigcry:

I would imagine its the graphics card tripping it up.

Does anybody have a similar one to confirm that or eliminate it as a problem?

must be the graphics card i seen a fair few posts with peeps havin probs with ATI cards:(
i also have AMD 500 128mb but i run with a Voodoo2 no probs`s for me,can u borrow ur dads graphic`s card and try it in ur machine see if it installs then?

I'd go for a different approach than the 2 answers above. If your machine is just locking up as though it's not doing anything, and sticking on a percentage, i'd have a guess you need clean the lens on your cd drive. I wouldn't expect it's the graphics card just through an install
