Black Flag is very annoying

does anyone else find the black flag thing very upsetting, it's a bit of a cop out for a stop go penalty, i'd have preffered to do it properly, and the black flag is very unforgiving in the sense that is i end up having to cut a corner and LOSE time i still get done, and it is very strict in it's execution, you only have to put your car slightly off the track and it catches u, and the bloke who walked across the track, i wanna shake his hand, he turned a dull crap race into a rather good one

Yeah I think that the 10 second slow down for black flags is a bad move. I really hope this is corrected for GP4, or in a patch for GP3.

In a game that trys to be realistic, that Black Flag does let it down.

I've not seen it yet :smokin: is is the same as the one in GP2 when you try to clip chicaines and stuff?

What happens if you slow down to like 50mph or something if you do cut a corner, does it still do it?

Yup identical to GP2 :(

The really annoying thing is if you do it, come back on the track and then becasue you are doing a pathetically slow speed for about 10 seconds you run the risk of losing your rear wing, or worse.

You can try driving of the racing line - but as the other cars dont slow for you, if two are battling behind you then you will almost certainly get hit.

I hope they sort this.

The best way to avoid it is Don't excelerate if you miss the corner. Admittedly excelerating is probably a bad idea anyway, but make sure you are nowhere near the accelerator :)
