Grahpics card upgrade and increase in performance.

Basically Sharing the details of what a graphics card upgrade can do for Gp3.

Anyway, i've got PIII 500, 128Mb PC100, Supermicro Mb.

I did have a TNT (1) grahpics card, hercules dynamite TNT, anyway, gp3 recommended 640 x 480 in hardware mode, and 800 x 600 in software.

Now, with my new Hercule Geforce 2 64Mb GTS, it recommends 1280 x 1024 in Hardware (the top one on mine), and of course still 800 x 600 in software. I'm running it in 1024 x 768 though, as my 1280 x 1024 would be in the horrible 60Hz. Makes a big difference having it in higher res with full graphics on :)

i've got mine running on athlon 850, creative geforce 2 32mb, and 128 ram, at 1280x1024, with everything on and 85hz and it looks very nice, could have done better though, i guess we are all waiting gor gp4 already...........

The way the marshals push your car of the track is still cack, but I guess no1 else has crashed as much as em to realise :D
