Hi All,
Right, I've a MS Sidewinder precision wheel. Thanks to some .con's linked to here I've almost got the thing working however my pedals are still giving me gyp. In the advanced control setup the accel and braking are set to joystick A vertical. However, in the game the brake pedal isnt the brakes. What seems to be happening is the brake pedal is the first half of the accel range, and the accel pedal is the top half of the accel range. So, when the engine gets turned on on the grid the engine is already revving quite high. To kill the revs I have to depress the brake pedal. Still no brakes though.

Sounds like u haven't run the joystick calibration in the game properly.

Do it again. Make sure u follow the instructions precisely.

I would do, however when in the calibration screen it says move wheel full left and press fire, but I cant find the button that it thinks is fire...
Perhaps I should uninstall the game and start from scratch.
Most frustrating.

finally got this sorted. In the calibrate screen it says press fire, however there isn't a fire button on the wheel. Its the fire button on the joystick.
<sigh>
Now for some racing, finally.
