I'm resisting the urge to use any of the hacks about at the moment. There is good progree being made on GP3edit, version 1 should be out soon. I've always altered GP2 through this, and like the way it did things.

After thats out I may start altering the other stuff. I think i'm going to have a second install of GP3 soon too. It looks like there is going to be the 2000 track's out soon. But I want one verion with un edited tracks.
