Large Sack

Good , apart from requiring a pit radio I'm happy with it. The fact that its more or less the same as GP2 with better graphics is ok with me , thats all I wanted. I've played most of the other GP games (F1 simulation, F1 2000 etc..) and in my opinion they are poor in one way or another. The cars handling(which is the main thing) was always better in GP2 than these other games. The Hot Seat mode is still one of the best features to be put in a racing game, so all in all a pretty good game.
Yeah, I love the game but.........
1. There iz a bug with MSFF wheels (non USB), it pulls left!
2. U can't hear the other cars in cockpit view
3. No .net play
4. No parade lap (wtf not?)
5. All the cars drive the same (as GP2) I want to drive a slower Minardi!
6. No safety car (like Nascar 1/2/3 etc)
7. No warning light on the back of car in the wet
8. MS doesn't get punted off on the 1st lap every race :)
Anything else u guys wanted to see?
F1RaCeR :r2d2:
my main gripe has gotta be this much vaunted AI,if its so great why then do the cpu cars make as many as 6 or 7 pitstops in a wet race?
kinda ruins the whole idea of a wet race to me,if this was fixed with a few other little bits, sounds, controls etc id be happy, but im not gonna pay another £30 for gp4 which is basically gonna be gp3 fixed :(
apart from that its a good game ive had loads of great races so far but ive now had to resort to turning wet conditions off as the cpu cars are just no challenge in the wet.
GP3 is............
......utter tripe compared to Ferrari F355 on Dreamcast :)
weird double post

On the issue of driving a slower car, GP3edit should allow that to happen.
Are you sure about the light at the back of the car? Im sure its lit on mine..
As for MS going off on the first lap - I go out of my way to make that happen ;)
Yep the light is definitely on in the rain. It just doesn't have any of the usual fancy 3dfx glare effects present in most games, (further evidence that none of the Microsoft team even bothered to play any other games for even 5 minutes)
I absolutely agree with all the postings here, but it still feels like a great racing game. And hotseat is a great idea, but it's a shame it doesn't remember the driver aids settings for each person. I've aliased 3 buttons on my wheel for brakes, auto box and steering help so I don't have to reach under the desk for the Function keys mid-change when playing versus the missus...
Oh, and there's a registry workaround / fix for the pulling left problem - check it out at http://www.alphaf1.com/gp3
