One of the first preorders

Right,It is the 4th of August today.
On the first day ADSL was announced i got excited and preordered.
Now i was reading the forums ppl r saying they r having ADSl installed 19 August or Earlier.I am in a major area and can recieve ADSl but when i phoened BT on this number:0800 3896622, They say no e-mails have been sent and ADSl should be released late August!
BTopenworld site says that single user usb's will get ADSL
October or November!!To pay for the 40 quid a month i have had to give up alot of things i like and was expecting it in early summer as they promised at that time.
Wot really pisses me off is that i was one of the first ppl to preorder!!!:angry:

It won't of matter when you ordered it as theres no queing system, your just a number and way of making money for BT.

:shakin:, wahay look @ the little BT guy go. (sorry but there all :monkee:'s.) i live in the Kingston Comm.'s area and my exchange is already ADSL enabled but nobody can get their act toghether and giv me a USB modem or the software.
me is :mad:, i wish somebody would :imubash: all the phone co.'s or :mrt: would throw them helluva far!

If you actually read the last mail it said those that preordered b4 June 30th "BY" October November on a first come first served basis. I read tthat to say that those that ordered first "Should" be up an running b4 that.
