Is impersonation against the rules?

I wanna know. In FFA just now, there was some bloke called 'Killer-'. he shot me from the runway as I was trying to land. I remarked this to the proper Killer, and a few minutes later, the offender came back with the name 'Conscript-'.

He began copying everything I said, acting, in general, like a ****. I told him to stop impersonating me, and asked him why, and he said I had taken the p1$$ outa him, which is rubbish. Anyway, after changing his name from 'Conscript-' to 'Conscript had a big crash', and then finally to 'Conscript2', he landed right behind me and tried to shoot me whenever I tried to take off. He then followed me around the airfield, and when I asked ppl to runway him, he rammed into me.

After a while, he changed his name to something else, cant remember what. But he was a total idiot, and Id like to say thanks to Tripikata for sorting it out. But do the admins have the power to get rid of twats like this when they appear, or what?:doom:

The fan-club idea, people WANT to be you, they are DYING to be YOU, so they have to change there name to look like yours.

People come in the arena with names like, BLADE, Marget thather, Queen mum, etc, because they think they are COOL role models, So when they have there name the same as yours they think you are COOL... :D

What about, as this one did, they changed their name to simply annoy you, and then shoot at you to prevent you from taking off? Then claimed he did it becuase I took the mick out of him?

No-one has impersonated me (yet) cos I am boring and generally a poo pilot.

I agree with Bat on this.... you obviously have impressed this twerp to such a degree.. that he wishes to impersonate you, and then act like a paving slab to bring your reputation into question.

He also has the advantage of hiding behind your name to "get at you"

Ditto hell.... I have had a number of impersonators... god know why?!?... I find it funny until people actually believe the impersonator IS me.... especially when the said impersonator starts ebing an utter ***** on my behalf (ie... runwaying.... swearing, etc)

Conscript m8ty i was ther when you were being impersonated and yes they are complete muppets but if you just ignore them then they get bored and go away.I had it in teams on a couple of occasions and i bit and they just carried on but then i ignored them and they got bored:-)
Oh and by the way the other Conscript was much better:-)

This reminds me of one night when i was in Sgt Homers rookie arena, and we all came into the arena as Dwaynes Mother in law No1, Dwaynes Mother in law no2, Dwaynes Mother in law No3, and so on and so on......
If my memory serves me correctly there were 11 of us in total. :laugh:
