View Full Version : 6PM 4SQUAD GAME - PLS READ
The PA server went belly up 11 minutes into the second half. The second half will have to be replayed I'm afraid, so can all 4 CO's please liaise with Emily the LM for a suitable replay date asap.
The scores after the 1st half stand and were as follows:
Godz (9 pilots) SU - 60
Falcons (5 pilots) GE - 58
Jedi (10 pilots) GB - 21
Scream (8 pilots) US - 0
First kill bonus point to Godz Nightrider.
I have rung the helpdesk so 8pm game *should* be able to go ahead.

Interestingly, Godz and Falcons were dead level overall when we got booted, it was a *really* close game. Jedi were giving it a go as US too, so if possible, I'll try and ref the replay too - I was enjoying it! :E

Not on our orders though.
But he certainly knew we were US everyone shouted at him for starters and i messaged him.

Rob, as one C/O to another (ish) I suggest u kick Halifax out, 'cos he's not gonna do your squad any favours with antics like that.

i sat in on the game, and Falcons were excellent :)
special mention to MAD HARRY for three stars i think wasn't it m8? something stupid like 15k 3d at the point when the server died :)

For what its worth it looks like we're gonna try for 4pm sunday. Had thought about Wednesday, but Ems wanted it played by 8pm Sunday, so........................

As its only a 30 min half replay, we can start at 3.30.
But Its 3.30 ON THE NOSE because we need to be out intime for the 4squad game.
3.30 on the nail, and if you arnt there we start without you.
Be interesting if only one squad show? How could they start on their own? Just thinking outloud lol :E
Why make it that tight? Matches never start at bang on the time scheduled.
Just agree on some time between 2-3, say 3pm and get out of there well before the 4pm game.
I need to know because I insist on being the ref! :)
Hurry up and someone mail me when its agreed.

erm as a squad pilot and some one who does have a life and commitments outside AA getting less than 48hrs notice is a bit crap IMO.
Just aswell we don't need to organise something important ain't it or we'd still be discussing it weeks later.

we did have it all arranged but then ems said we had to play the whole match not just the end half. And it was ems that told us to re-arrage it with 36 hours notice

Look, just agree on 3pm (its not going to make that much difference, half hour either way) and get it on.

I understand all 4 CO's have agreed the password for the PA and I am mailing all CO's now to confirm. I have also ICQ's all CO's......should be no missing this now.

i have just checked my mail and have a new one from yav!
it says ems has made the match start at 2pm and it seems like its a full replay of the 1st and 2nd half :D
I have heard from Ems and there would appear to be some misinterpretation of what she said.
The match proceeds tomorrow at 3pm, second half only and Im going to ref it. The password has been mailed and ICQ'd to all CO's.
End.

I have never said 4pm , indeed i mailed everyone saying DONT play at 4pm cos it clashes with a league game. Also, I have never said play the entire game.
The game will go ahead at the time and date stated by Rocky. Only the second half will be played, and rocky will ref it. I will probably show up as well to have a wee word with Yavin's Conch-like.

This afternoon timeing is a pain in the butt.
Why can we not have matches at a sensible time 8pm +
I know for a fact most the Falcons have a hard time getting away for work and the dreaded miss's
Rocky is there any reason to have matches this early.

probably coz it would have to be on at 9.30 (ish) so as not to class with the 8pm game and then you'd get the young'uns saying the games are to late........
and i guess with more games being played we'll have to start using weekday nights aswell, they manage it in other games so we'll just have to manage it in AA.
this time is majorly diffcult 4 me...but i will do everything to make this match...

Yep Mac is right.. If 3pm is out cos its summer and peeps are out doing off-line things then why not play it during the week.. especially as this is a replay.

2nd Half replayed this afternoon ended as:
Godz GE - 44
Falcons SU - 56
Jedi US - 4
Scream GB - 6
Final Scores and League Points
Falcons 114 - 5 pilots = 20pts
Godz 104 - 9 pilots + 1st Kill = 20pts
Jedi 25 - 10 pilots = 15pts
Scream 6 - 8 pilots = 11pts
Well played all squads, good battle, good spirits and a great battle between Falcons and Godz which was pretty close up until the last 5 minutes when Falcons stretched ahead.
Pilot of the second half was [GODZ]Kinkade, as he managed a very respectable ratio despite Godz being attacked by all 3 squadrons at a few junctures.
Pilot of the match has to go to [SCREAM]XRoblist who despite taking a royal battering, kept his lads going and still had time to thank all others for the battle at the end and retained his sense of humour. His ratio wasn't too bad either, all things considered.

coulda made it a bit less obvious that every 1 was going for us, never mind, still got a decent ratio :P
nearly got a positive ratio.hangs head in shame once again.:-(
