2 weeks gone, Dundee's current stats are as follows:

Played: 2
Won: 2 Lost: 0 Drew: 0
Scored: 5 Conceeded: 0

So far, they are situated at the top of the SPL.

But who thinks they can keep the pressure on Rangers and Celtic throughout the season?

I hope they do as it will make the chase a little more exciting. :)

I dont think they'll be able to because SPL is soo boring its allways 3 teams

Thats why the Scottish FA has done that thing to the SPL where they split it up after teams play each other 3 times.

Actually, you're wrong.

The SFA have no dealings with the SPL board on how the league should be setup. Roger Mitchell, the head of the SPL, devised this league setup with the rest of the SPL board members (including chairmen of the SPL clubs).

Fair enough, the league always seems to be between 3 teams: Rangers, Celtic and whoever is on a decent run at the time. But the league setup is a farce which I have mentioned in a previous thread as the teams which are tipped for relegation (ie - St Mirren, Dunfermline and Dundee Utd would only play the Old Firm 3 times each, leaving them a little short of cash they would normally get when Rangers and Celtic would give them when they visit their ground.

And from what I have heard, Dundee were so impressive in their opening games so far, the bookies have shortened their odds for the league. :)

Maybe it's Dundee for the cup this season then

And the point is?

I don't want to sound rude, but whether or not you are scottish has nothing to do with this forum, I am merely stating that the football forum doesn't have to completely revolve around the English Premiership.
