Watched voyager last night and it was actually really quite good I thought.
Continuation of character and plot lines (7of9 tertiary female role model etc) and all that and the story of Lindsey wotsit. I mean I haven't a clue where she came from but it was a good storyline. and it had consequences for the characters and had no action in it (they got shot at yes, but no action to speak off)
So I approve and it wasn't a guns blazing one either.

/me teaches Janeway how to cook ;D

Ah Ashes to Ashes, quite good.....

But many ppl only watch it for the phaser/ship fights, I think that is sad...

I luv a character development story, Dont get me wrong I like the ship fights, But the characters are what keep me glued to the set,

mmmm Janeway :blitz:

...and Kim has a huge crush on Seven :)

So was Lindsy actually a character in the earlier series? I thought it was just my memory going crap, obviously not?

Twas a good episode though... one of the better ones this series.

imho I thought that episode was an insult to my intelligence. My girlfriend and I consider ourselves total Star Trek fans, however, neither of us have any recollection of this Lindsay watserface at all. :( I felt as if the writers were saying "remember this bird?" and we're like "what the hell?" and wracking our brains trying to work out if we might have missed summat.

I never expected Lindsay to have been in it before - although I admit the writers did try to give that impression by giving her a lot of backstory on Voyager.

I just thought it was a well-written episode with the usual cop-out ending. WHY couldn't she stay on board for a few episodes? Was it cos she was better looking than most of the crew and Jeri Ryan wouldn't have wanted her to stay? :P

this Lindsey character was just a throwaway plot vehicle..
you've never seen her before but she was just supposed to be an old mate of Harry's.
I mean they give the impression of her having been around but that's just so they can use the story line.
Personally I thought it was quite good.
See was quite yummy too.
Next week's voyager will be ****e. The doctor will be a sore throat from a photonic virus and he won't be able to sing anymore...or something lame like that.

Yeah, although aren't we due another visit to Fair Haven??? :naughty: I mean, it's been at least one episode since the last one, and that's just too long...

What you talking about?
This Monday's episode is "Child's play" and is more about the Borg children!
Here is the description (btw I have descriptions for the whole series in order if anyone wants it):

The oldest Borg child Icheb is reunited with his parents who give Voyager the ability to scan for wormholes, but soon the crew begin to realise a secret about Icheb the parent's are keeping.

oooo its not a bad episode, it all revolves around Icheb, not much voyager action, cept the end ;)
