A true classic. I have just watched it again, and it is sheer class. An intriguing storyline, with the ideas of De Niro and his thoughts about ' filth ' being displayed through introduction of people like the guy in the car who is talking about the .44. Yet it is a contradiction, as he talks about filth, but then goes and watches ' filthy ' films himself! Sheer brilliance from scorsese ( hope i havent spelt that wrong - bickle will lynch me if i have! :E ). anyhow, anyone else got any thought on the film?
