Hot Laps for the Upcoming GP

I thought it might be an idea, if ppl posted their hotlaps for the circuit of the upcoming/most recent GP (in real life). :afro:

(As near as poss. 'cos obviously some of the GPs have changed):homer:

Hungary is this weekend.

I still find it cool playing the game, then comparing when they do the in-car stuff.


Also, is it me, or is Hungaroring a bit of a nightmare to get a competitive set-up? :jigga:

well I'm having trouble coming anything more than last, but I put that down to the fact that I'm still getting my graphics/detail settings sorted; not that I'm a crap driver. No, not at all.

sounds like a good idea, and a way to kick off a hot lap competition I metioned late last week :)

If you get a good setup, then upload it somewhere and we can give it ago, or try and make it better :)

and if you can take a picture of the time, and link to it from here, even better :)

/me wonders again if we can have images turned on :)

Good idea, if its topical then people are going to have a go, and the Hungaroring is a nice circuit when you are belting round on your own, kinda like a kart track.

Erm....if people post links here then I am happy to compile them onto a website, like a hall of fame (in my case shame) ;)

Seems my site was down sometime over the weekend, whilst I was away, but it's back now and I've updated it so you can now submit hot laps for Hungary. Get submitting.

Isn't there a facility to save the lap details or summink?

We could then mail the save to someone whom ppl consider impartial - LSM/Reality or whoever, for confirmation.

That person could then stick them in a table or summink and post that.

Another good excuse for - :imubash: !

No good mailing them to me m8, I will only claim I did them (the **** hot ones anyway :pimp: )

But I do have a ton of webspace all over the place to waste on such ventures so we can start something if somebody else doesnt want to take it on.

You could save hotlaps on GP2, similar deal with GP3?

Yeah, you can save hotlaps.

You can also use the perfomance report and grab the screen for a good list of times.

I asked on the 'forums forum' about the [img] code - hopefully we can have that enabled.

How to save hotlaps is on the rules page of my webby:

After doing a hot lap:

Press Escape
Click on Options
Click on Save
Choose the lap you wish to save
