It wouldnt by chance be that the (track for example) has poor colour graduation would it? By that I mean you can see the outlines between different shades of grey.
Just a thought but your colour depth may be too low.
The graphics are just poor. They seem to have asked a 3 year old to do the graphics engine for this title. I'm afraid that is how they meant it to look.
I also have a TNT2, they dont look at all blocky (running in 1024 x 768). Have you got the latest drivers for your card?
Im sorry, but, are we not ment to be looking at braking points and the apex etc? The graphics kick @ss over GP2 and u don't need a 1ghz Athlon with liquid cooled fan to play it (like F1_2K) If you guys had photo realistic track textures you would be complaining that Sir Geoff only supports ninja PC specs...........
Well, thats my view......i'm off to watch the qualifying :)

I would expect them to beat out the graphics for GP2 as that title is now 5 years old!!!! But come one, they haven't done any of the basics of 3d hardware programming. Thats why a lot of the reviews are saying that the software mode looks almost identical to the hardware mode.
It's not too much to expect them to use some features of 3d hardware out there like texture blending. There are loads of pixellation and shimmering textures which could easily have been sorted out without upping the hardware requirements.
It would have been nice to include more advanced features for those with the hardware like 32-bit colour, higher quality textures (the ones included are very poor) or even T&L.
All in all scores 1/10 for the graphics.
