[B] Part two of the dawn of the dead review (link at bottom)
Anyway before we start Note: Day of the dead will be reviewed tommorow so please don't worry cos i haven't missed it out :E
Anyway last time i didn't explain enough of the film to make it get the score it did. Anyway DOTD has a great action story-line based in the city. More of the population
have become zombies, riots are everywhere which just demonstrates how anybody in this hell world would react upon such a situation. (don't give me rubbish that you would be runnin around shootin, you would want the best plane outta the whole world, rather a rocket.) people have been forced to draw upon there weapons and shoot there beloved ones. At the start there is a very good sequence containing a young poice officer who has entered an apartment and has seen a zombie(tubby:E) rise up from the dead, He can't shoot it however much his friend tells him. In the end it nearly bit off his leg, but than shot a whole cartridge in its head with a pistol, but the scene intensifys when the police officer after killing it(i think)
gets the gun at his head, and than...well you can figure it out. This proves that scenes in this film can get better.
The film also got its good marks because of its good ending.
Also the great thing is that it is really filmed in a mall in America, the special effects all these things add up to its great intense action and good mark.
the 3 endings[B] There are 3 different versions which contain more violence and some contain less. In England you can only buy one version- directors cut which is not the fully violent version. The other ending which is not available ANYWHERE! Is the suicide ending where everyone dies. This ending was remembered by the remaker of 92' version NOTD, tom(dont know if i spelt it right) salvini
and G. Romero cannot remember it. Basically this is a classical film. Theres nothing more to be said.
