Where can i get flash from?

i know im still in the stone age and havent even got flash yet, but im thinking of starting my first own website and i keep hearing everybody going on about flash. I know what it does etc but does anyone know where i can get the software from? and how much does it cost?

One of the Net magazine (I'm afaid I can't remember which one) actually gave Flash 2 away for free, also Dreamweaver 1 was on a coverdisk too.

I would suggest doing a search on Yahoo with the keywords magazine uk net and then check out the websites for back issues.
