When upgrading your flash memory on these modems please remember to check the current version your modem is running. If you bought your modem after Jan 1999 it is possible that your version will be newer than the one on Diamond's web site. Installing this version will slow your modem down!

Ther version on the site is dated 12 Jan 1999. The version on most new modems is 18 Jan 1999. Diamond has so far refused to post this new upgrade. (Hopefully the new v 92 protocol will force them to release it).
