Key setup dilemma

Right , the cockpit view for my likeing is a bit low in gp3 , and the chasecam is too far back and low down as well .

Fine , I thought , i'll just increase the cokpit angle with the + and - keys .

but it doesnt work . pressing the keys do nothing . So i'm left with two very annoying view points to choose from .

any suggestions ? (I'm using the English (British) keyboard setup in windows , I also tried it with English (USA) but it doesnt make a difference)
