I don't think it is a copy of anything but it is pretty ****, i am in America at the moment though and they have the newest series, I can tell you it does get better :E

Actually, I'm not sure what it is, the later series are actually quite good...
I just feel a bit tired, a bit hot and sometimes get a bit of a stomach ache when I watch it, have I discovered a new illness? :D

Star Treks never quite 'done' it for me, but its ok to watch if theres nothing else on, and you've got nothing better to to.

But theres a ratio of around 50:50 of watching a good episode, or a bad episode, and thats practically of any series, especially Ds9 (which I can not stand btw)

Farscape keeps me interested all the way through.

So what if its a copy? Imho its better than star trek, so copying it must've been no bad thing.
