That ain't a bad time.
Only a couple of seconds or off what the top pros did.
Have u tweaked ur setup and stuff?
I find it a very hard track.
I found it a nightmare getting rid of all the understeer etc.
Could also depend on your control method and what assists u had on.

which track?? am i missing something??
Theres a big clue to the track in the thread title mate ;)
I think this is one of the harder setups to get right. Never quite sure if I should be going for maximum downforce, or 'risking' a little less.
My mid 1:18 yesterday was after about 25 laps of trying, so I'm sure that it can get better, well I hope anyway. I think one of the biggest problems is the temptation to cut corners and getting that black flag, grrr

Is that on Hungary?
Full downforce.
I had a lot of understeer.
In the advanced settings it says what result altering things will have.
Ideally, u want to run the car as low as possible.
Obviously, on a bumpy track the bottom will scrap along the road, so u want to minimise this.
I haven't read through it, but the manual, looks to have some good tips on set up.

Well, i was fiddling a bit more today, and guess what....
first time
1.20:779
fiddled a bit more...then
1.19:886
hmm and fiddled a bit more
1.19:442
Yippy :E
Now I know where im loosing the time, it in the last section, i just can't seem to hook the car up ;)
Tips anyone?
I solved all my understeer by alterng the advanced settings (the back of the manual gives a good guide to problems and how to solve them).
The problem now is too much oversteer, lifes a bitch :E

ive done a 1.13.5 at hungary so far...though the wr at the mom is 1.12.8...
i have full downforce and no aids....to acheive this u must try and use the kerbs a bit more
downshifting quickly whilst braking helps you brake quicker, main thing is to carry the speed as best as you can...hope this helps

How the hell do you guys do thes relatively fast times???
I tried to do different tracks and I'm ****e. I've had to turn accelleration aid on to to fairly ok times but they is still crap by other peoples standards. I just do Australia now and try and cane it round there with just accel aid on (if i dont i just do doughnuts all over the place) The best I've mustered on Australia is 1:38 ish. This is crap as WR is 1:27 ish. Where the hell do I get 11 seconds from?? I tihnk its my braking actually, "do it late fast", that's my motto!! I is using am analogue steering wheel and pedals too. (do peeps use left foot for braking cos I don't) I is in desparate need of help with this game!!!!

always balance the throttle....sometimes its quicker to get round a slow corner by accelerating through it....not massivley but enough tio get the back round....
driving aids make you slower...
dont be afraid to use the kerbs...u can gently accel over them without the car getting too unsettled
unfortunately a lot of the hotlaps on bhmotorsports are imo invalid as corners are cut...so dont be too disheartened, corners in hungary can be cut but i think the hotlap there is valid....
best to d/l hotlaps and see how they are faster...see which lines they take and listen out for the throttle...
good luck
