i read elswhere (lost url atmo) that the patch is still gonna be released for free addressing d3d,control probs etc with other stuff yet tba,according to them the addon from hasbro is as well as the free patch ! so maybe u dont HAVE to buy it to get probs sorted.....hopefuly anyway

I am an online news editor for the British magazine, PC GAMER.
I will not give away my real name due to my position (It's not Joel).
We have been in touch with Sir Geoff Crammond recently and there have been a few conversations about a certain update/fix/patch being released for GP3.
He tells us that the patch will be free to download off the official site before November.
The new update is actually the 2000 season and graphical as well as other enhances will feature in the new add on pack which will retail for around £15.
