heh,

I haven't seen the problem anywhere else, and just did a search for it on a couple of other forums - nothing.

Maybe its something you have conflicting with GP3... You have got all the latest drivers for your PC right?

Other than that post your PC spec here - GC, sound card etc.. If nobody else has had that problem it may make it easier to sort :)

Right then, I as a
PIII 500 mhz
64 megs Ram
Voodoo 3 2000, latest drivers installed only a week ago
Destiny FF Steering wheel
Outrageous 3D Sound Card
Erm, that's it. One thing though. My puter originally had an on-board sound-card, I replaced it cos it was carp but now it slows down my booting up time significantly because I cant get rid of it. Disabling it just gives errors on bot up to. Maybe that might be it. But hoe can I get rid of it cos I can't just take it out???

Check that there are no lines in the autoexec.bat file (on the root of c:\) that refer to your onboard soundcard. If there is anything in there you're unsure of, you can type REM at the beginning of the line and it will ignore it, so you don't have to delete it.

That might sort your bootup problem out, but the GP3 bit I'm not sure about :)

Oh yeah, you have to reboot before any changes to autoexec.bat take effect. If you know were around in the days of DOS, you probably know all this already though...
