i6 muppetry - the planning starts here...

Myself and Razz were all out to give this a go at i5, but we never got round to sorting it out.

Anyway - here's our evil plan for i6.

We intend to turn up with a large number of LAN playable shareware versions of games - stupid games, bad games or just plain classic-but-old games. We will then spend the entire 3 day LAN party muppeting about with anyone else who can be bothered to install them.

Games in the hot list so far include...

Codename Eagle (multiplayer demo)
Grand Theft Auto Shareware
Doom Episode 1
Descent Shareware
Blood Shareware

We need more suggestions - I'll slap them all on CD (they're shareware / demos so that shouldn't be a problem) and we can indulge in some serious muppetry once we get there.

We could even do Daikatna Demo Multiplayer - for all of 30 seconds :E

Can people give us some sort of idea of more manic games and which games out of the ones specified they'd like to play?

Listen you peons, I had EED playing 8-player Doom Legacy in shiny OpenGL with all its leetness!

It supports 32-players max - but it was dealing out super lag playing off my 10mbit (ahem) network card.

Get it sorted on a real serv0r, I am da retro masta! ;)

i tried to get a game going at i5 but everyone was too wrapped up in the shiny world that is CS TFC Q3A, and other such rubbish, to bother SCREW THEM ALL i say.

& me wants to play heretic so i can turn some ppl into chickens once again :)

Sounds great so far :) Remember we're looking for shareware / demo versions that have multiplayer support - that way we can distribute them to anyone who wants to join in.

Ohh Wacky Racers its mario cart for the Pc but with animals top game :) you can even have 1v1 Dm in it lol.

Descent was one of the first games I played at a LAN party some 6 years ago. Oh the fun we had chasing each other round the tunnels (8-player games r00led!). I'd certainly be up for it if I get a spare millisecond :)

yeahh Desent 2 was much better than desent 1 and seemed to be better than 3 just was easier to get into and have fun.
